About Women's Caucus for Art
Northern California Chapter

The Northern California Chapter of the WCA has well over a hundred members. It is an active chapter, advocating for the exhibition of women's art work and bringing women artists together in community.

One example is this website: any member who wishes to have her work seen in an on-line portfolio may do so via this route. We alert curators, directors, gallery owners, buyers and appreciators of art to the work of our members via this site by e-mail notices and by search engines. In addition to this virtual representation of artwork, we have slide carousels, CD's, and notebooks of resumes and articles from members which we show on request.

The NCWCA has monthly meetings, salons at member's studios, and a quarterly newsletter. We make every effort to have our members' work shown in exhibition. Support us! Join us! You'll have the opportunity to make new friends, "network," learn new things, and put your energies toward positive "woman/women" art!
