Artist Statement
Most women are granted human rights under the law that governs a particular country. There is a form of human rights, however, that permeates the psyche of women--the hype from Madison Avenue that brainwashes women into thinking they must achieve a certain look or style, no matter what the cost.
Suddenly women become the slaves to the dictates of a few Madison Avenue types without knowledge that their human rights are violated.
