Artist Statement
I am interested in the internal and external structure of the body as a starting point in my sculptures. I work in clay and welded steel using solid forms augmented with the use of line and space to make coherent images. I intend my sculptures to contain within them multiple facets of meaning and multiple nuances for interpretation.
