Artist Statement
My interest in doing art was reawakened about nine years ago when I started life drawing. I spend many happy and sometimes frustrating hours at Walnut Creek Civic Arts drawing the many wonderful models who pose there. I like to think of myself as the "Grandma Moses of nudes" with no disrespect to Moses I hope. I also do makebelieve scenery and some abstract scenes. I've won a few ribbons, sold a few pictures, and have been exhibited in shows from Hong Kong to North Carolina. I work in pastels, acrylics and lately have been experimenting with watercolor and oil pastels/sticks,
