Artist Statement
I paint what appeals to me, my own sensibilities. I paint oils on canvas, usually quite large. I have a love for human form, architecture, and animals.
Usually I have a dream, literally, at night, and I find my ideas from that subconscious resource. I paint in the classic glaze style.
My intent is to open the hearts of the viewers. Because I am both an artist and a psychotherapist, many of my pieces portray a psychological and spiritual experience.
