Artist Statement
Too often and so early, in our culture
women get accustomed to the pain of fashion, beginning with the toes crammed
into a ridiculous
shoe.
Like the research frog who sits still in the
increasingly hot water,
gradually getting used to the heat until it boils to
death.
So it is with physical or verbal abuse.
