Artist Statement
My work unfolds in the encounter of hand with matter. I am interested in the play of imaginal forms as they emerge in time. I want each piece to carry the idea of incarnation— the fall of spirit into matter— and to allude to the sense of inner, not optical, sight, as well as touch.
