Artist Statement
My mixed media pieces concern women as victims. The In Her Heart series show women as totally focused on men. The Not Her Fault series shows battered women.
We women do violence to ourselvs by being so caught up in pleasing and caring for others, that we forget our true priorities. We have not had the chance to know our own power and strength.
Each of us can begin to heal the problem by realizing our own most positive potential.
