Artist Statement
The most compelling, even haunting, force propelling my images has been an unquenchable thirst for recording and expressing transformation, for incorporating images and materials that give me flexibility and reach in encompassing, and isolating an ephemeral moment or feeling with paint.
I recognize that my work reflects my life of constant motion and change. Regardless of the variations in theme and imagery, it has been the feeling that life is an unceasing journey of transformation and that a special luminescence or light dictates, informs, and organizes the structural unity of my work.
