Composing the Future, a NCWCA member exhibition, originally premiered May-June, 2021 at the Bankhead Performing Arts Center in Livermore with 64 artworks. Composing the Future II is a curated iteration featuring a selection of these and  new works, as well.

This time of transition offers unique opportunities. Artists, traditionally, have been both witnesses and the raw material for envisioning potential futures in turbulent times. In “Composing the Future II,” NCWCA artists were challenged to flex their artistic powers in response to the extreme events of the past two years and to project their hopes, dreams, and ideas into the future.
