Mary (They/She pronouns) is the Workshop Coordinator at Abrams Claghorn Gallery. As a Queer Iranian, Mary finds that art, history and current events are some of the most important elements to understanding ourselves and building communities that are resilient and overflowing with creativity.
Mary’s approach to event coordinating is to always center the community and their varying interests and needs. It’s their top priority to ensure that every person who enters the gallery for a workshop feels welcomed, included and empowered to explore their artistic abilities in a judgment-free zone. Mary is so excited to facilitate film screenings, poetry readings and art workshops that will bring out the best in every person who supports the Abrams Claghorn Gallery!
In their spare time Mary enjoys weightlifting and swimming, traveling with their partner and taking their two cats on evening walks. Feel free to email Mary with any questions at Mary@AbramsClaghorn.com
