F*CK U! IN THE MOST LOVING WAY EVENTS

All events are free of charge and open to the public
​Opening Reception: Saturday, December 17, 2016, 7-9 pm.
​Opening reception for gallery and featured artists. Special guest artists Emma Sulkowicz and Violet Overn will premiere a new performance during the reception. At Arc Gallery, 1246 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA.

Lecture by Emma Sulkowicz and Violet Overn, December 19, 2016, 3 pm
Artists Emma Sulkowicz and Violet Overn discuss their work, including their new collaborative performance piece, Rulers. Lecture sponsored by the School of Humanities and Liberal Studies, SF State. Co-sponsored by the SF State School of Art. Location is HUM Room 133 in the Southwest Quad 3 on the SF State campus.  The address of SF State is 1600 Holloway Ave, San Francisco. 

Docent Tour of Exhibition,  Friday, January 13, 2017, 1-3 pm.
Tanya Augsburg will lead a lecture tour of the F*ck U! exhibition at Arc Gallery.  The public is invited to attend. At Arc Gallery, 1246 Folsom Street, San Francisco, CA. 

Womanhouse Reunion: Friday, January 13, 2017, 6-9 pm.

Two Womanhouse videos will be screened and original Womanhouse artists Faith Wilding and Karen LeCocq together with filmmaker Johanna Demetrakas are expected to attend. At the Ninth Street Independent Film Center, 145 9th Street, San Francisco, CA. 

Faith Wilding/ Viet Le Performance: Saturday, January 14 , 2017 from 1:30 – 3 pm.
Faith Wilding and Viet Le will premiere a joint poetic reading accompanied by artist Michelle Dizon's images.  Tanya Augsburg will perform "Kitchen Table Talk."  At the Ninth Street Independent Film Center, 145 9th Street, San Francisco, CA.

F*ck U! Video Screening: Saturday, January 14, 2017, 7– 10 pm.
Cheryl Dunye’s Black is Blue, Rokudenashiko's video short, Johanna Demetrakas' video trailer and works by video artists selected by Dr. Shannon Rose Riley will be screened. At the Ninth Street Independent Film Center, 145 9th Street, San Francisco, CA.
