When you fill out your application on Memberclicks, be sure to  select CAN, the acronym for our chapter. This will make you a member of NCWCA as well as a member of NWCA and the WCA Northwest/Pacific Region. You will be invited to participate in all NCWCA’s events, meetings, exhibitions, projects and committees as well at programs at the regional and national levels.

If you are currently a member,  you will receive a renewal reminder when your membership is about to expire.

MEMBERSHIP FAQ

How will NCWCA and NWCA communicate with me?
By providing your email address, you agree to receive emails from NCWCA and NWCA. These emails will notify you of upcoming events, exhibition opportunities, meetings and renewal reminders. Members have an opportunity to announce their upcoming exhibitions, workshops, publications and the like in News & Notes, our monthly e-news. As a new or renewed member, you will receive a welcome email from NCWCA's Membership Chair as well as from the Operations Director of NWCA. NCWCA also uses social media such as Facebook and Instagram to announce upcoming events.  

How long does my membership last?
Your membership lasts for twelve months from the date of joining or renewal. You will receive a renewal reminder email when your membership is about to expire.  

How can I join a NCWCA Committee? 
If there's a committee that intrigues you, select one or more . We are a 100% volunteer organization and members create and produce all events. We also share great ideas for future activities. Click here to let us know what you want to do.

What is Regular Membership?
Regular Membership is good for 12 months and provides access to events and activities offered by NCWCA, National WCA, and the Northwest/Pacific Region. 

What is Lifetime Membership?
You pay one lump sum and have a lifetime membership in National WCA, in the NCWCA chapter, or both. 
Lifetime membership in National WCA costs $750.  By choosing to purchase National Lifetime membership,  you only pay annual dues of $25 to NCWCA to continue to be a chapter member. Select Lifetime National/Annual Chapter on Memberthingy to purchase lifetime National WCA membership and the annual NCWCA membership.  
To purchase combined National and Chapter Lifetime membership, log into NCWCA's Memberthingy and select the Lifetime National and Chapter option at $1,000.
To purchase a lifetime membership in NCWCA, contact Membership Chair Theresa Giammattei at theresa@ncwca.org.  The Lifetime Chapter membership is $250. You must already have a lifetime National WCA membership to select a lifetime Chapter membership.    

Financial Hardship Membership
If you sign up for a Financial Hardship Membership, you will be contacted by Membership Chair Theresa Giammattei. Your application will be reviewed by the Membership committee for approval.  You will be asked to email an explanation of your financial hardship. You will be notified of the results from Theresa. 
 
Student Hardship Membership
Full-time students are eligible for a Student Hardship Membership. If you sign up for this category you will be contacted by Membership Chair Theresa Giammattei. She will ask you to email a copy of your current full-time student ID or bursar's receipt. These documents will be reviewed by the Membership Committee for approval. You will be be notified of the results from Theresa.
